Republican Party in Polk County, Wisconsin, pulled the tape of Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) fretting about making ends meet on his $174,000 a year salary from its own website.

You just have to see this..

"First the Republican Party in Polk County, Wisconsin, pulled the tape of Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) fretting about making ends meet on his $174,000 a year salary from its own website. Now they want it gone from the whole Internet."  ~tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com

His quote:
"I can guarantee you, or most of you, I guarantee that I have more debt than all of you. With 6 kids, I still pay off my student loans. I still pay my mortgage. I drive a used minivan. If you think I'm living high on the hog, I've got one paycheck. So I struggle to meet my bills right now. Would it be easier for me if I get more paychecks? Maybe, but at this point I'm not living high on the hog." ~Rep. Sean Duffy

Whaaat? Are you kidding me?? This man lives where the Median household income is $41,183. That means his salary is 4.2 times more than the median person. Not the average, the middle.

Here is some shet to chew on, here are some percentages of the people he compares himself too.
Percentage of people     Their income range       Times their income goes into his.
14.1%                             >$10,000 ~ $14,999                  17.4 ~ 11.6
14.1%                             $25,000 ~ $34,999                    6.9 ~ 4.9
19.2%                             $35,000 ~ $49,999                    4.9 ~ 3.4

That is 47.4% of the people he compares himself too. Also he is in the 1.6% highest paid range. Which is the last 2 ranges on the chart. I don't know about you, but his hog seems pretty damn high. Thanks for thinking of the little people there congressman.
